After completing B - Arch from TKM College of Engineering in 2004, the principal architect Arun Thomas worked for 7 years with India’s leading architectural firms : Cnt Bangalore with Ar. Sanjay Mohe, Architecture Paradigm Bangalore, Ochre Pune & Design Combine Cochin with Ar. Jacob George & Ar. Ramesh Tharakan. He formed GRiD architects in 2010, which was later renamed as Arun Thomas Architects.

One among the leading architects in Kochi, the firm currently has 5 architects & 3 support staff with extensive experience in handling Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Resort & Interior design projects in various cities of Kerala and South India. Ar. Arun Thomas has involved in the design & execution of projects of various scales including Award winning Residences , Hi- End Bungalows, 5 Star Resorts, Apartments, Commercial Complexes, Retail showrooms, Convention Centers, Interior Design projects, Product design etc . The practice has recently collaborated with Sky Line General Contracting LLC​, Abu Dhabi for its upcoming projects in UAE.

He also holds a Masters degree - M Arch in Urban Design.
